Psychotherapist
70 W Honey Creek Pkwy, Terre Haute, IN
Hi, I’m Rick I work with individuals who feel constantly on, people who are stressed, overwhelmed, and completely unable to slow down, even when they know they desperately need rest. Many of my clients are high performers, athletes, and driven professionals who struggle with physical recovery, poor sleep, emotional regulation, or just feeling completely disconnected from their bodies. If you are chronically overwhelmed, your brain is essentially hijacking your body. Traditional talk therapy can help you understand why you feel this way, but it rarely changes the physical baseline of that stress. That is why I practice as a somatic focused therapist. We don’t just sit and talk about your anxiety; we work directly with how your physical nervous system stores it. My work focuses on helping you learn how to rest, regulate your system, and reconnect with a genuine sense of steadiness and ease. We build a structured, practical approach that supports deep recovery, reduces stress, and improves how you function in daily life. You don't need another strategy on how to grind harder. You need a strategy on how to recover. In my practice, you are approached as a whole person, not a clinical diagnosis. We will tailor the work entirely to how you actually experience pressure, fatigue, and recovery, giving you the tools you need to reset and function at your absolute best.
