My name is Richard Spires. I believe in the therapeutic alliance. Counseling is a team effort, and we get the best results when we work together. Part of my counseling style is taking the time to get to know you and truly understand your issues. I have been to counseling myself and experienced times when I felt the therapist wasn't trying to understand my problems. I promised myself that when I became a counselor, I would never let any of my patients feel like I didn't care. I take pride in getting to know you and understanding your challenges. I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University, which have equipped me with the skills to support you effectively. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
