“When I began working with Dr. Leone, I felt shattered, like I didn't belong, and as if I was living a life that was disconnected from my true self. I had a feeling of being disoriented. Dr. Leone utilized a range of methods to assist me in completing the tasks necessary for me to navigate my path. I was aware that I had a significant amount of work ahead of me to improve my current situation. He was able to simplify things for me so that I could grasp the concepts. He assisted me in healing wounds that I was not aware of. I am grateful to him for not only steering me in the right direction but also for creating a safe and non-judgmental environment in which I felt comfortable speaking my mind. He possesses practical thinking and is rational. He is approachable, considerate, and receptive to different perspectives.”

Getting to know Richard V Leone

My name is Rick Leone, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress and time management, relationship issues, parenting challenges, career difficulties, grief and loss, and addiction. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating individuals with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. I am powerfully positive yet empathetic to those who are struggling. My approach is eclectic, tailoring our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. Whether you have lost your way, need a tune-up, or are experiencing a crisis and need to process it, I am here to journey with you. Please don't waste another day suffering or feeling hopeless. I look forward to working with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I desire that my clients leave our sessions having more hope about their future. I want them to learn the skills that they need to deal with the challenges that they are facing in their lives. I will do my best to help them feel empowered to make the changes that they want to make in their lives. Individuals can count on having "homework" assignments to help them reach their goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
