Hi there, I'm Ricky! Have you ever felt life has been hard to navigate? Are you feeling stuck or alone? Have you struggled with self-acceptance and identity? When life is hard to manage and challenges are present, therapy can provide a deeper perspective and offer tools to help you experience your best life. As your therapist, you can expect to receive services tailored to your individual needs. I hold a Master in Social Work from Aurora University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support you effectively. My approach Using various therapeutic interventions and approaches, my intention is to empower you to recognize your inherent strengths, identify current coping mechanisms that may no longer serve you and their origins, and discover new strategies to help you experience a greater sense of wholeness and self-acceptance. My focus I have expertise in working with adults experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, chronic stress, life transitions, trauma-related disorders, and interpersonal stressors. As a male of color and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also specialize in working with Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and LGBTQIA+ populations.
