Getting to know Rina Gutierrez

My name is Rina L. Gutierrez. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Miami, Florida. I have been working in the mental health field for the past twenty years. I have a wealth of experience dealing with depression, co-dependency, anxiety, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, addictions, double diagnostics, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, and child abuse. The main focus of my practice is to work together--with couples, families, groups, adolescents, men and women to receive the right help and guidance in taking those steps to reach a healthy emotional stability through a healing process by confronting, overcoming, and evolving. I believe that healing is an integral part of a human being's mind, body, and spirit. Once the mind begins to accept change, the individual as a whole begins to renew and opens up to the endless possibilities that begins with self-discovery. My goal in our first session is to ensure that you feel comfortable with me as your therapist. Most importantly, that I am someone whom you can trust in sharing your most pressing issues. Based on my years of experience, I am expecting you to have questions and concerns about the process and how this is going to work. I will respond and address all your questions and concerns in a timely manner. From the first session forward, you will find in me an empathetic and non-judgmental listener. My hope is that you find that we are good match, so we begin to work together over multiple sessions. The time invested in the therapeutic process will be evident by how well you are moving toward meeting your therapy goals. Well, I am here to help you.
