Hi! My name is Rita and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at Mindful Healing. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in integrative health and I received a masters degree from Georgian Court University where I completed the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program as well as the Substance Abuse Counseling requirements. I have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in multiple settings such as inpatient, in community, outpatient, one-on-one counseling, group counseling, and family counseling. What should a new client know about working with you?

My ideal client could be someone navigating multiple challenges but motivated to create meaningful change. Some of these issues may include substance use and recovery, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or interpersonal challenges. Their needs would include relapse prevention, emotional regulation tools, cognitive reconstructing, supportive accountability, and holistic wellness practices. Furthermore, their goals would include emotional stability, maintaining sobriety, healthy relationships, self- discovery, and growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe in using integrated counseling approaches, combining elements from various modalities to best support each individual. My focus is on taking a holistic approach to address the emotional, mental, and personal goals of my clients to ensure they receive well rounded care tailored to their unique needs. I offer a safe, unbiased, and non-judgmental, space where we can explore your challenges together. Using an integrative and holistic approach we can collaboratively work together to not only address your immediate concerns but the deeper needs behind them.
