My journey to mental healthcare A psychology class during her undergraduate days sparked Rita's interest in becoming a therapist. Earning a Master of Science in Psychology, continuing education in the field, and a successful practice have given Rita a fulfilling career. She works in private practice, teaches as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech Community College, and supervises master-level clinicians. My goals for you Respecting clients by working in a collaborative style, Rita joins the client in designing the best therapeutic modality specific to their goals for change. Together, the client and therapist take the agreed-upon steps for success. My first session with you The client will experience a compassionate, skilled practitioner to explore concerns, hopes, and goals. Together they will develop treatment options. The client will be encouraged to ask any and all questions. At the end of the first session, the client may accept, decline, or take time to think about continued therapy.
