Getting to know Rob Cooper

Welcome! I'm Rob, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with a Master's in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. My previous clients would describe me as a warm, approachable, and non-judgmental therapist. I have experience treating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns, substance use, and other challenges, including severe mental health disorders. My past work in community mental health and substance use programs has allowed me to support a diverse range of people. I'm committed to making therapy more accessible and comfortable through telehealth. I am currently accepting new clients and excited to work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In the first session you can expect to gain a better understanding of what therapy is, what your goals are, and how we can collaborate to achieve them. As sessions go on, we will work together to develop a personalized treatment plan and seek to increase awareness, develop coping strategies, and build on strengths to make positive changes.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
