Getting to know Robert Dominguez

Hello, I'm Robert. There are times we find ourselves stuck and wondering, 'How did we get here?' I will work alongside you to get to the root of what might be causing imbalance in your life. My approach comes from a belief that healing and growth occur when a person is met with genuineness, acceptance, and empathy to realize their own strengths. I use a person-centered approach, which seeks partnership as the main vehicle in working through areas causing pain or discomfort. My role is to help facilitate a safe space where you can reach your desired goals. While I generally practice from this perspective, I am also able to call on a variety of other approaches that will best match your needs. The length of therapy will vary as some issues can be resolved quickly, while other issues may take us some time to explore and reach a feeling of closure you are comfortable with. I have helped many individuals and couples through a variety of behavioral, emotional, and social issues including depression, relationship, and communication issues. My specialties include addiction, anxiety, depression, family relationships, intimate/romantic relationships, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, stress, grief/bereavement, and suicidal ideation and/or self-harming.
