Getting to know Robert Egbert
I am Bob Egbert, Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) licensed in Ohio. I have been providing therapy since 2011. I have mainly worked with people with anxiety, depression, bipolar, and ADHD symptoms and with individuals and couples with relationship issues. I help clients solve problems and look for ways to improve their lives through various therapy techniques. I provide information and techniques that help problem solve. I rely on the work of John Gottman to help with couple issues. After getting some background information I focus on client therapy goals.
My experience is mainly treating depressive, anxiety, bipolar, and ADHD symptoms with some work with addiction issues. I have worked with elder issues and trauma issues. I like helping people. I have done this by being a mental health case manager team leader for fifteen years first and now as a mental health therapist for thirteen years.
I let the client set the goal of the session. I provide support, information and feedback. Clients should expect us to get right into the issues the client wants to address after pertinent background questions are answered.
