I am a dual Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Minnesota with 11 years of counseling experience and 41 years of working with those experiencing a co-occurring mental health and chemical health disorder simultaneously. I have worked with groups and individuals experiencing a vast range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, psychosis, impulsivity, substance use and trauma. My clinical and volunteer work has been in residential, home-based and intensive outpatient settings. My counseling style is compassionate, sensitive and positive, incorporating humor and joyfulness when appropriate. My approach combines a person-centered, trauma-informed framework, embracing one size does not fit all. I incorporate the modalities of mindfulness based stress reduction, meditation, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
