Getting to know Robert Goldberg

Hello, I'm Bob, a clinical psychologist originally from Baltimore, Maryland. My journey in psychology began at Syracuse University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology. I then pursued my Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Northern Illinois University. After completing my training, I started practicing at a VA Medical Center in South Dakota, where I gained extensive experience in the VA health care system. Today, I am a licensed psychologist in the State of Nebraska, providing care through telehealth services only. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and collaboration. I believe that therapy is a partnership where we work together to navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals. My strengths lie in treating depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders, medical stress, and couples therapy. I also specialize in addressing issues related to addiction, anger management, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, grief and bereavement, OCD, phobias, and sex and intimacy issues. I am fluent in English and can also communicate in a little Spanish, which helps me connect with a broader range of clients. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where your concerns are heard and validated. My goal is to help you find clarity, build resilience, and foster a sense of well-being. Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for travel, skiing, hiking, and exploring National Parks. These activities not only rejuvenate me but also provide a sense of balance and perspective that I bring into my therapeutic practice. If you're ready to take the next step towards healing and personal growth, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create a path forward that feels right for you.
