I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been practicing counseling for over 9 years. I was able to gain invaluable professional knowledge and experience assisting in the facilitation and growth of an outpatient program at a psychiatric hospital to address various mental health needs. For my last year at the hospital, I worked primarily with active and retired military duty personnel. I have been in private practice for over 7 years and primarily work with individuals that are dealing with trauma, existential crises or are adjusting to interpersonal relational issues. I specialize in mood disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression and anger), processing trauma, and with improving relationships. I am a compassionate and caring counselor that focuses on a collaborative relationship with my clients to support and encourage healthy strategies to resolve life stressors. My goal is helping clients feel healthy and able to more fully enjoy life.
