Robert Mayor, LMHC

Robert Mayor, LMHC

Psychotherapist
1992 Lewis Turner Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL
Growing up as a military brat, my parents both served in the United States Air Force. I lived on several military bases, including those in Turkey and Japan. I attended Florida State University, majoring in psychology and criminology. Afterwards, I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2015. I have 11 years of counseling experience, with 6 of those specifically serving the active duty and veteran military population. The other 5 years were spent providing counseling to adolescents and teenagers involved in the Department of Children and Families system, working to reunify their families. Personally, I have been married for 13 years and have four children, ages 11, 7, 5, and 2. My clients would describe me as empathetic, compassionate, and transparent. As a therapist, I acknowledge that it takes courage to reach out for help. I meet my clients where they are and collaborate with them to set meaningful goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
