People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes something specific has happened: a loss, a rupture, or other overwhelming circumstances. Sometimes it’s harder to pin down: a feeling that won’t resolve, a pattern that keeps recurring, or a sense that something isn’t working. In any of these difficult moments, suffering can feel arbitrary, and it can be hard to see the many shapes the stories of our lives might take moving forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I aim to make therapy a space for you to understand everything you carry, reconnect to who you are, and cultivate a deeply felt sense of who you can become. Together we’ll build a warm, understanding environment where you can welcome aspects of yourself you may have lost touch with, or are yet to meet, into the conversation. From there, we can explore the many perspectives you hold and what they can tell us about where you’ve been and what might be possible from here.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work is relationally oriented and draws from a number of depth psychological approaches, particularly Jungian and Post-Jungian frameworks. I aim to bring a queer-informed, client-centered approach to depth psychological work that is attentive to the way that culture, identity and power shape our inner lives.
