“Perfect balance of listening and guidance. With Rob I know that I can speak without having to carefully construct my thoughts and when there is a point to be made, he gently jumps in and provides insight or clarity. I am getting so much out of the sessions this way. I am left with things to think about, practice and measure results.”

Getting to know Robert Price

I have approximately 30 years of experience in virtually all clinical settings. I began my career working in a juvenile penitentiary (referred to as a "youth development center") and, after almost six years, left that setting to pursue new opportunities. Along the way, I worked with group homes, foster homes, substance abuse treatment programs, and even provided treatment in a sexual offender treatment program. In 2004, I transitioned solely into private practice and currently operate two offices. I have also provided on-site services to businesses experiencing a death or other disruptive event, delivering over 170 of these services across four states in recent years. While no faith is required to see me, I also offer Christian Counseling. Additionally, as a US Army veteran, I understand the unique challenges and needs of veterans. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Liberty University. My approach is practical and focuses on building a person's strengths to achieve realistic, measurable goals. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy to help my clients reach their goals and live life more fully.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can often expect to start achieving some immediate progress if they are willing to do the work. I want my clients to begin seeing small, incremental gains in their lives during the first week of treatment.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
