Hello, I'm Robert. My counseling style has always been focused on building a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My motto is that we all have bad situations (death, abuse, divorce, etc.) that can trigger negative thoughts and feelings, and it is important to respond to these situations in a healthy manner or we tend to stay in that negative space longer than we ever intended. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, DBT, rational-emotive counseling, and client-centered therapy. My goal is to walk with you through your healing journey as you take steps towards accepting but not allowing challenging events to define who you are and take control of your life. I realize that it is not easy to admit that you need help, but that is the beginning of change! If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
