I have a Master of Education degree, Specializing in Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College, with 25 years of experience in counseling, corrections, social services, and substance abuse. M.Ed., LPCC-S, NBCC. My approach I enjoy helping others while using evidence-based approaches and integrating various treatment therapies to best meet the needs and goals of my clients. My focus I provide emotional support and guidance to adults focusing on grief and loss, addiction and recovery, trauma, depression, and anxiety. My communication style I aim to empower my clients to create space, balance, time, and strength to process and work through their mental health needs. I meet clients where they are and partner with them to work through their mental health needs. My journey to mental healthcare I initially got into this field because of an abnormal psychology class I took in my undergraduate program. I have continued in this field for over 20 years because I enjoy assisting clients as they navigate the challenges and stressors in life. I want them to be the best and happiest versions of themselves they can be. My goals for you We will develop a treatment plan and set 1-2 goals to work toward between and during our sessions.
