“I have experience in therapy so I really believed there wasn't much left for me to learn about myself until I started sessions with Robin. I love all the skills I'm learning and how much I'm still learning about myself thru attachment history/styles. I feel like unlocking subconscious patterns I can change many things about how I view the world and others.”

Getting to know Robin McDavid-Ransom

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping individuals struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and trauma. If you feel stuck in “what if” fears, mental loops, emotional overwhelm, or patterns that are hard to change, you're not alone and effective help is available. Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. I believe in meeting you where you are and tailoring my approach to fit your unique needs. I use evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard for OCD, along with CBT and DBT to help you break free from these cycles and process past experiences. My approach is warm, structured, and focused on helping you build practical skills so you can feel more in control, grounded, and confident in your daily life. Together, we'll create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.

What should a new client know about working with you?

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
