Hello, I'm Robin. As a Texas State Board Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I approach clients’ issues from a strengths perspective. My goal is to create a relaxed and safe atmosphere for you to identify and achieve your goals. Whether you have a history of trauma, experience anxiety or depression, struggle with relationship issues, or just need an objective sounding board to cope with the daily pressures of life, help is available. I have provided mental health services to students with emotional difficulties and learning disabilities in a North Texas school district for 24 years. Prior to the academic setting, I provided Social Work services on the Child and Adolescent Unit at Terrell State Psychiatric Hospital. I have also worked in private practice and served as a guest lecturer at the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M Commerce. My experience includes providing services in the areas of trauma and sexual abuse, parent education, and family therapy. I also have experience working with people on the Autism Spectrum and am a State of Texas Board Approved Social Work Supervisor. In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where we work together to address your concerns and achieve your goals.
