Getting to know Dr. Robin Renucci

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience working in community, educational, and virtual settings. My passion lies in helping clients cultivate their strongest sense of self and create meaningful, lasting change. I strive to provide a supportive and empowering environment where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop effective strategies for personal growth. What should a new client know about working with you?

As your therapist, my priority is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. I take a person-centered and solution-focused approach, integrating cognitive-behavioral strategies to help you develop practical tools and insights for lasting change. During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another, discussing your goals, and exploring what brought you to therapy. You’re encouraged to share openly, ask questions, and collaborate in shaping your treatment plan. You can expect: Compassionate, judgment-free support where your experiences are respected and validated. An active partnership where we work together to identify your goals and create a personalized plan. Evidence-based techniques tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. A focus on empowerment—helping you build confidence, resilience, and clarity as you navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and equipped to make meaningful progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will have an intake session to get to know each other, obtain background information, discuss your primary concerns, and forge a path forward working together. I tailor therapeutic approaches based on our therapy goals and what practices work best for you. We will go at your pace, and we will conclude each session with a plan for small, reasonable steps we can take or activities to complete before we meet next. Some sessions will be more prescriptive, and others may be more about discovery and exploration.
