GA
Please note I do not do court ordered therapy. I am an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University and have worked across outpatient, school-based, inpatient, and virtual settings. My experience includes individual, family, and group therapy, comprehensive intake and biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and behavioral interventions. My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I help clients understand the patterns underlying their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while developing practical skills for meaningful, lasting change. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, ODD, bipolar disorder, trauma, PTSD, relationship difficulties, and other behavioral or mood-related concerns. I also have specialized training in trauma-informed BPD treatment, emotional dysregulation, attachment, and personality disorders. At the heart of my practice is a compassionate, curious, and nonjudgmental approach. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to help them feel more confident, emotionally regulated, connected, and capable of creating meaningful change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I create a nonjudgmental environment where clients can comfortably explore difficult emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns while developing healthier ways of responding. I draw from CBT, ACT, IFS, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy to build practical coping, communication, and emotional-regulation skills. When working with children and teens, I adapt sessions to their age, interests, and communication style. Plutonic’s interactive virtual platform gives clients additional ways to participate through customizable spaces, therapeutic activities, whiteboards, and other tools that can make it easier to express themselves and stay engaged. My goal is to help every client feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session with me is collaborative, conversational, and tailored to your needs. During our first sessions, I’ll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, your personal history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll establish treatment goals and develop an approach that feels comfortable and useful to you. I offer therapy through Plutonic’s interactive virtual platform, which provides more ways to communicate and engage than a traditional video call. Depending on your preferences, we may use different virtual environments, whiteboards, worksheets, or interactive activities to explore emotions, practice skills, and make difficult conversations feel more approachable. This can be especially helpful for children and teens who may find it easier to express themselves through activities rather than conversation alone. As therapy progresses, we’ll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while building practical coping, communication, and emotional-regulation skills. I’ll adjust our sessions based on your age, interests, progress, and evolving goals.

Initial session: $130 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $130 for 60 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

I accept several major insurance plans through Plutonic Therapy. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan, so our team will verify your benefits before your first appointment and provide an estimate of any copay, deductible, or coinsurance. Insurance verification is not a guarantee of payment, and final responsibility is determined by your insurance company when the claim is processed. Self-pay options are also available for clients who do not have coverage or prefer not to use insurance.
