What should a new client know about working with you?

I strive to provide my clients with a peaceful, non-judgmental experience that combines their faith with principles of secular psychology to enable them to heal from their past hurts and present struggles. I work primarily with Christian women who have survived emotionally or physically abusive relationships. I also work with many individuals who have suffered childhood abuse and First Responders.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initially, we will talk about your background and the types of symptoms you are experiencing. In addition, we'll discuss what led you to counseling and what you want to gain in the process. I like to provide my clients with a sound understanding of why they may be experiencing the symptoms that they are having. I encourage my clients to give me feedback about what is and is not working for them. Everyone has a unique path to healing that works for them.
