Robyn has given us tools to over come obstacles with time management as well as responsibilities with homework, games and our routine.
Robyn is very flexible with adjusting to a virtual meeting if we need to also. ”

I would be honored to be your mental health therapist who will walk with you on your journey to good mental health by processing your trauma, helping you develop a well-rounded life, and assisting you in reaching your life goals.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I listen with both my heart and my head, and seek understanding of your situation so I can assist you in finding the answers you seek. I am very direct and experienced in life and as a counselor. I am down-to-earth and will help you find your own insight into your life. I will laugh and cry with you..
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I start by finding out how you are doing overall, and if there is something in particular you would like help with. I will seek information about what you value in your life, how you are getting along with your family and friends, and in your career or education. If an early memory of trauma is triggered, we will begin to process it. If you are stressed out, I will guide you in progressive relaxation, deep breathing, and guided meditation. I also utilize emotional freedom tapping using meridian points to assist you with fears and phobias. In each session, we look at your goals and the progress you have made, or what obstacles are blocking your progress. Your belief system will be honored and used in the process of your healing and to give you courage. If there is anything that you are uncomfortable with we will not use it. I focus a lot on building your self-esteem and helping you self-advocate and develop your own unique coping skills.
