What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means entering a space built on safety, understanding, and genuine care. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy and help clients who have experienced abuse, violence, loss, or complex family dynamics find stability, empowerment, and peace. My sessions are collaborative and paced according to your comfort level; you’ll never be rushed or judged. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and other evidence-based techniques to help you understand how trauma has shaped your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Together, we’ll develop practical coping skills, work toward emotional regulation, and gradually replace self-blame with self-compassion. Because my practice is fully telehealth, you can connect from the privacy of your own space anywhere in Massachusetts. I bring warmth, structure, and authenticity to each session, meeting you where you are while guiding you toward growth. Clients often describe our work as empowering, validating, and life-changing. My goal is to help you not only heal from what you’ve been through, but to rediscover your sense of safety, confidence, and hope for the future.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with understanding your story and the reasons that have brought you to therapy. In our first sessions, we’ll focus on building trust, identifying your goals, and creating a plan that feels both safe and achievable. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to help you process experiences, build coping skills, and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness. Each session is collaborative and paced according to your comfort. I provide structure when it’s needed and space when it’s time to reflect. Together, we’ll work on emotional regulation, identifying patterns that no longer serve you, and strengthening your ability to manage stress and relationships. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and confident in creating lasting change at your own pace, from the comfort of your home.
