Getting to know Rocio Borda

I am a therapist who provides compassionate and approachable therapy for individuals and couples throughout Florida. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation challenges, and identity-related concerns. My approach is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human, and I incorporate warmth and appropriate humor when it helps clients feel more comfortable. Session Information (Self-Pay Rates) • Therapy Evaluation: $180 (60 minutes) • Therapy Follow-Up: $160 (60 minutes) These rates apply to self-pay patients. If you are using insurance, the cost of services will be determined by your insurance plan based on your specific benefits, copay, coinsurance, or deductible.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients should know that I focus on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, adults, couples, and individuals navigating multicultural or first-generation experiences. I also support clients through breakups, career changes, grief, anxiety, depression, OCD, and relationship challenges. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop healthier coping skills, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with understanding how clients see themselves, how they function in the world, and how they relate to others. From there, we work together to identify what feels difficult, what patterns may be getting in the way, and what goals feel most important. Sessions are tailored to each client and may include emotional processing, communication work, coping skills, self-esteem support, and practical steps toward change. I aim to make therapy feel safe, collaborative, and focused on meaningful growth.
