Hi, my name is Rod Dunlap, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Thank you for taking the time to look me up on Wellnite. I hope you find what you are looking for and that this helps you learn about my practice of Marriage and Family Therapy.
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, a Master’s in Religious Studies in Spiritual and Pastoral Care from Mount St. Joseph University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. I bring a comprehensive set of skills that I believe will be valuable in creating a positive therapeutic relationship, making appropriate assessments, and providing a firm foundation as your therapist.
My interpersonal, people-centric nature and compassion have afforded me excellent observation skills. I am excited to contribute my talents and proficiency in motivation as your therapist. As an engaging communicator with a proven track record in guiding others, my focus on building strong professional relationships has been a beneficial asset throughout my career.
I am experienced in treating individuals, married couples, children, adolescents, families, adult children of alcoholics, sexual abuse victims, and those struggling with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, childbearing loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder/scrupulosity, ADD/ADHD, and reactive attachment disorder.

Poorly run office. I've been canceled on multiple times. WOULD NOT recommended if you are desperately looking for help!

I’ve tried a handful of counselors prior and the initial chat is normally unproductive. Typically practitioners are asking very vanilla questions with the assumption that your root issues fall into 1 of maybe 5 general categories. Felt like Rod did a good job of listening and clearly trying to define what my goals are for counseling services. Good first session.
