I believe in the healing and transformational power of therapy. My work over 40 years with individuals, couples and families has shown that we have the ability to change ourselves, our relationships, our families and the world when we commit to learning and growing. I respect each individual's beliefs without judgment. I have a background in spirituality and offer that as a resource for healing, if wanted and when appropriate. I believe that relationships are challenging and that we can learn skills to improve communication, intimacy, respect and trust with those we love.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with anyone from adolescence to twilight. I frequently address issues of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, sexuality, spirituality, whatever pain leads someone to seek change through therapy. I use a variety of approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, ACT, Family Systems, Relational Therapy (Gottman), and Mindfulness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I seek to share what I have learned on my life-journey and through years of providing therapy for others, with humility and with grace, believing that others may find peace and growth in the painful places of their lives, as I have found in mine.
