Hi! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I am Romalyn Aaron, but you can call me Roma (like the tomato!). I have over 10 years of experience as a therapist working with all age groups, from toddlers to the elderly. I have worked with a wide range of mental health disorders, including adjustment disorders, anxiety, and depression. I specialize in trauma, substance use disorders, familial relationship hardships, crisis intervention, and behavioral management. I hold multiple degrees: a Master’s in Psychology from Walden University, a Master’s in Professional Counseling and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, and a Master’s in Education from the University of Maryland Global Campus. I am currently pursuing an Education Specialist (EdS) degree toward a Doctorate in Education (EdD) with a specialty in Community Mental Health Traumatology. As an Army combat Veteran, I have experience working with Veterans and their families, helping connect them with community services and resources.
