I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Master's in Social Work from IU Indianapolis. My goal is to make you feel "complete"-whatever that means for you, I'm here to help. I work to help you alter, improve, and uplift the challenges you may be facing. My approach Helping you manage depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and family conflict is key to fostering a more positive outlook and finding a way to leave the past behind. Each person is unique, with their own goals and needs, requiring a personalized approach. I can also assist with connections beyond therapy to ensure all your needs are addressed. I tend to use cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to help alter thought patterns. My focus With over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, teens (including those from probation and the Department of Corrections), and adults, I utilize treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. I am certified in working with youth with harmful sexual behaviors and juvenile victims of sexual abuse. My communication style I bring a sense of calmness to our sessions to support your journey of change-whether that means change in your pain, behaviors, family, or needs. Developing alternative skills that empower and uplift you is my goal, helping you see your life through a different lens-one of healing. This is achieved through open, nonjudgmental communication that meets you where you are in the change process. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been a natural observer and listener, bringing quiet calm to situations that allow others to open up. Helping and problem-solving have been natural parts of my life, making this career path an obvious and meaningful journey for me. My goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
