Getting to know Romy Rodriguez
My name is Romy Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked with various populations with mental health and substance abuse struggles. I also provided Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to adolescents and their families who lived in the shelter and were in the court system. This job is very rewarding and I am blessed to be included in the journey of many wonderful individuals. As a clinician, I value empathy and unconditional positive regard. Each client have different needs and they have a different treatment approach. My approaches are EMDR and Brainspotting models. These models are used to help each client work towards gaining confidence and a connection with their feelings, trust and peace of mind. I also provided Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
