What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a therapist who listens without judgment, meets you where you are, and genuinely cares about your progress. I understand that reaching out for therapy takes courage, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I use a collaborative, goal-oriented approach and tailor treatment to your unique needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, , or navigating a major life transition, we'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to help you move forward. I believe healing happens through trust, compassion, and evidence-based care. My role is to support you, challenge you when appropriate, and help you build resilience so you can create meaningful, lasting change both inside and outside of therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative. Our first session focuses on understanding your concerns, learning about your background, and discussing what you'd like to accomplish. From there, we'll create a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. As we work together, I'll help you gain insight into patterns that may be keeping you stuck while teaching practical skills to manage life's challenges. When appropriate, I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and other trauma-informed techniques. Throughout the process, we'll check in on your progress and adjust our work to ensure you're moving toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. My priority is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your healing journey.
