Hello, I'm Ron. As a seasoned counselor and counseling instructor, I seek to understand your world and the challenges to happiness it may present. I engage clients by providing positive support and thoughtful guidance so that decisions about how to change may be implemented. Think of me as a passenger; you are driving your life-bus. We will experience the journey together. I approach clients' issues from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. This means that together we will examine your thoughts, i.e., what you tell yourself, the choices you make, and ways for you to overcome the issues and experiences that trouble you. I value your experience and ability to change your life. We will talk together and determine change methods for you to lead a happy and meaningful life. You deserve that, don't you? I have the academic training and experience to provide quality service. I hold an MA and am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Over the years, I have supervised many interns and practicum students, which helps me maintain my own counseling skills. My specializations include grief and bereavement, life transitions, phobias, PTSD, spirituality, stress, depression, and anxiety.
