Hi there, I'm Ronald! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), but I also am certified in neuropsychotherapy, and I have my doctorate in psychology as well. So, my approach to therapy is a little different than most therapists, and it is very effective. I keep statistics on all of my clients and on average my clients have a decrease in their anxiety of 52% and an average decrease in their depression of 54%. And this is after JUST 2 SESSIONS! My approach Because I am trained in neurology as well as psychology, I treat a wide spectrum of problems using a specific treatment plan that I have devised. This plan is divided into 3 phases, 1 is the Stabilization Phase, in which we will work together to get you on a stable keel. For this phase, I use "Polyvagal Therapy." Phase 2 is the Resolution Phase and for this phase, I use "Neuroplasticity Therapy." In this phase, we will work on resolving the root cause of your problems. Phase 3 is the "Growth Phase". During this phase, I will introduce you to the "Upward Spiral". Science has found that there is one particular element that, if you add it to your daily life, will be like stepping on an escalator. It will take you to a higher and higher level of living. One that is more healthy and fulfilling. My focus I work with teens and adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety, but because of the neurological approach I use, I have been very successful in helping people with ADHD, PTSD, addictions, eating disorders, and grief. My journey to mental healthcare I am retired. I continue to do therapy because I like helping people. I worked for the Veteran's Administration until I retired at age 56, but that burning drive inside me wouldn't let me stop, so I have been doing this since. I love it.
