I am a Disabled American Veteran who served in both the Army and Navy before leaving Active Duty in October of 1998. My last tour of duty was at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton where is served as Department Leading Petty Officer for Assault Craft Unit Five. My tours have included South Korea, Japan, 3 tours of the Persian Gulf and numerous staff assignments throughout the world. Following active duty, I used the Montgomery GI Bill to finish my Bachelors, two Masters Degrees before competing my Doctorate in Psychology. I've also served as Chaplain for the Armed Forces, Lay Minister for a Protestant Faith Group and am now semi-retired. My passion lies with fellow Veterans who are working at processing some of the tougher issues that surfaced while on active duty and the rigors of trying to find meaning through those experiences and ultimately, a sense of peace.
