I've always been passionate about helping people on their life's journey. Life entails struggle, but I have learned that there is beauty within the struggle. I'm confident that every person has the ability to overcome life's obstacles, and I believe that no one should ever feel as though they must do it alone. Seeking therapy can be an overwhelming and intimidating experience, especially during the most trying times in our lives. However, as your therapist, I am here to guide and support you at every stage of the therapeutic process. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor's degree from Morgan State University. My approach is based on providing a warm and secure environment for you to process your deepest emotions, thoughts, and experiences while promoting growth and healing. I take great satisfaction in my natural ability to establish deep connections with my clients founded on compassion, trust, and respect. Using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, I will help you identify your individual strengths and develop the skills and tools you need to achieve your personal goals and find fulfillment and healing in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York as well as an active member of the American Counseling Association. I obtained my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and my BS in Psychology from Morgan State University. My professional background entails working in settings including the foster care system, homeless shelters, in-patient psychiatric hospitals and private practice. Along my journey, I have worked closely with those impacted by a variety of mental, emotional and behavioral health conditions like anxiety, depression, mood disorders, childhood behavioral disorders, trauma, and domestic violence along with serving a population range from children, adolescents and adults.
