Getting to know Rosa Spear

Hi, I'm Rosa. Are you feeling down and stuck? Maybe you're feeling worried and tense, and you can't stop your mind from racing. Do you feel lonely and like no one understands you? Perhaps you wonder if this will ever get better. Some of the things I help my clients with are a lack of energy and interest, loss of relationships, racing thoughts that don't seem to stop, feeling uncomfortable in social situations, and so much more. Our mental health concerns may look different and come about in many ways, leaving us feeling broken. But where do we go to “get better”? I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University, where I developed the skills and compassion to support individuals through their unique challenges. Together, we can work toward healing and finding hope.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I know from experience that opening up to a stranger can be intimidating and daunting. My role as therapist is to help you feel included and comfortable, so that you can be authentic and yourself. In our sessions together, I'll treat you with warmth, compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome what’s holding you back. Together, we will aim for a healthier and happier you.
