You are important, and when life gives you a hundred reasons to break down and cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile and keep moving in the right direction. I aim to help you reach your goals by providing active listening skills, evidence-based interventions, and treatment modalities. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University and have over 6 years of experience providing counseling and resources to families, teenagers, and pre-teens from diverse backgrounds in both school environments and virtual settings. We can discuss your concerns, present issues, needs, and wants in a caring and safe environment. My interpersonal style is nonjudgmental, supportive, and strength-based, focused on helping you reach your best and highest potential. My overall approach to therapy is eclectic and promotes the integration of mind and body wellness. Treatment modalities may include one or more of the following: motivational interviewing, TF-CBT, Client-Centered Therapy, SFBT, behavior modification, or Gestalt therapy. Together, we will design a treatment plan that best meets your needs. My interests and hobbies include taking nature walks, attending gospel concerts and classic car shows, reading, and trying new recipes.
