Psychotherapist

I believe healing begins when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported just as you are. My goal as a clinician is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can take a deep breath, feel safe being yourself, and begin rebuilding from within—one step at a time. As an Army veteran, I understand the importance of resilience, connection, and the courage it can take to reach out for support. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, grief, life transitions, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and emotional burnout. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, collaborative, and person-centered. I do not believe therapy should feel intimidating or judgmental. Instead, it can be a place where you gently unpack what feels heavy, reconnect with your strengths, and learn practical tools that support healing, confidence, and personal growth. I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Outside of counseling, I value creativity, advocacy, family, and meaningful community connection. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move through your healing journey. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling encouraged, empowered, and reminded that healing is possible.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. During our first visit, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your concerns, and work together to identify goals that feel meaningful to you. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I may incorporate CBT, solution-focused strategies, mindfulness, and EMDR-trained based on your needs and comfort level. You can expect therapy to move at a pace that feels manageable while helping you build practical coping skills, recognize your strengths, and begin creating lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session is relaxed, supportive, and focused on what feels most important to you that day. We may begin by checking in about how you have been feeling, discussing any changes since your last visit, and reviewing progress toward your goals. Depending on your needs, the session may include exploring thoughts and emotions, identifying patterns, practicing coping or grounding skills, or working through a current challenge. I may use person-centered therapy, CBT, solution-focused strategies, mindfulness, and trauma-informed techniques. Sessions are collaborative, and you will never be pressured to discuss anything before you feel ready.
