Getting to know Rosamaria Espinosa
Hello, my name is Rosamaria Espinosa, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at El Paso. My background is primarily in medical social work, both inpatient and outpatient. I have experience working in a Level 1 Trauma hospital as well as providing comprehensive medical care in a geriatric outpatient clinic. I have worked with diverse populations, ranging from newborns to geriatric patients, within medical settings.
I strongly believe in the importance of a client-centered approach. I meet my clients where they are and use a personalized method to provide psychoeducation and therapy. My approach is Solution Focused, emphasizing Strengths and Empowerment. I am currently pursuing certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to help every client find the tools to feel empowered long after care has ended.
