I received my Master’s in Social Work, Planning, and Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and have over 20 years of experience in the field of social work, advocating for and serving people with disabilities in their community. I have extensive experience working with children and adults, assisting them in both English and Spanish. I earned my undergraduate degree in Studio Art from Mary Washington and also work as an accomplished artist. My love for art and social work is the focus of my practice. I work in expressive arts and EMDR and am working toward certification in both. I believe in the healing power of art and its use in mental health recovery. Art allows us to bring about change inside ourselves and can support you as you move through your distress. I believe that recovery is always possible. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
