Getting to know Rosaura Yepez

Hi, my name is Rosaura, but please call me Rose. Do you ever feel like your thoughts are "too much"? Or maybe you're having certain negative thoughts that interrupt your daily life, relationships, and even work? I can help you understand these thoughts so you can manage them and continue living your life. I work with people suffering from anxiety and depression by teaching and inviting them to explore where these thoughts come from and why they happen. I like to use cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness to enhance awareness and increase mindfulness in our day-to-day life. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Barry University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively. You don't have to do this alone. You're already taking the first step in this journey. Meeting with a therapist and working together to overcome these difficult challenges is something we can tackle together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our sessions are all about you! After the first session, we will discuss a treatment plan to guide us to your goals and each time we meet, we will focus on the objectives to reach the goals. Because each client is different, no two sessions are alike, there will be days where sessions will focus on gaining knowledge and learning skills while others will focus on sharing and being vulnerable. While I will encourage you, I will not push you to share what you do not feel comfortable with. As we have more sessions together, trust will be developed until you feel comfortable to share the more distressing memories you might hold.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Rose is warm and welcoming. She creates such a safe atmosphere. Very knowledgeable and always helpful. I am grateful for her.
She is very comforting and engaged very well with me regardless of what mood I’m in.
I feel very comfortable with her which is important for me in order to open up with her. She helps me alot by understanding why I think the way I do. What is the cause. She also has a sense of humor which I appreciate. Amazing experience.
An amazing counselor. Always professional, direct, kind and patient. Very knowledgeable. Ultimately the relationship didn’t work but out of her hands. Highly recommend. She’s wonderful. I’ll never forget her kind words during my last session. She looked me in the eyes and said “you’re doing great, you need to know that” I wish her the best life can offer her.
I would not recommend because she did not listen to my concerns carefully. She was not able to help me with my anxiety problems. Declined helping me and made a referral after doing goals for my next appointment.

This was only the first meeting so it was more of a “getting to know know”, “why are you here”, “what are you hoping to get out of this” type thing. But we dove in. She listened well, responded well, and so far seems to have a great understand of my “issues” and what steps we need to put in place to help me overcome them.
