Feeling overwhelmed like you can’t handle another thing? Feeling like no one understands what you’re going through? Feeling alone in your struggle? What you’re experiencing may seem like forever, but it’s temporary. You have taken the first step toward making the change you’ve been nudging yourself to do.
With over 25 years of experience in mental health counseling (outpatient and residential settings) and school counseling, focusing on issues related to school, ADHD, Autism, ODD, Depression, Anxiety, substance abuse, women’s issues, and life transitions, I am dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to emotional wellness. My approach combines evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, Solution-focused therapy, and Play therapy, along with stress management strategies, to provide personalized support for every unique situation.
I understand that taking the first step toward emotional wellness can be challenging, but it’s also the most important one. Together, we’ll invest in your mental health, creating a brighter future filled with growth and healing in every session. I’m honored to help you through this new journey, the next chapter of your life.
My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University, a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and an Education Specialist degree in Professional School Counseling from the University of Georgia.
Memberships: American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA); Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA); American School Counselor Association (ASCA); Florida School Counselor Association (FSCA); National Education Association (NEA).
I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, ballroom and Latin dancing, walking on the beach, and looking for shells.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
