Getting to know Roselynn Corrado

If you often find yourself overthinking conversations, questioning your worth in relationships, or feeling torn between who you are and who others expect you to be, you’re not alone. I provide trauma-informed, affirming therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relational stress, identity exploration, and life transitions. I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and women who want a space where they don’t have to explain or defend who they are. My approach is integrative and client-centered, meaning your experiences and goals guide our work. Together, we’ll gently explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck — whether that’s people-pleasing, self-criticism, or difficulty setting boundaries — while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and confident in your daily life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is warm, affirming, and intentional. I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel respected and understood — but also supported in making meaningful changes. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you connect patterns across your experiences. At the same time, I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including CBT and DBT-informed skills, so you leave sessions with tools you can apply in real life. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. We will move at a pace that feels steady and sustainable, with clear direction along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, we’ll explore what brings you in, identify the patterns or stressors you’d like to shift, and clarify what meaningful change would look like for you. I take time to understand your background, strengths, and the contexts that have shaped you. As therapy progresses, sessions may include: Exploring relationship and attachment dynamics Strengthening emotional regulation and coping skills Challenging self-critical or unhelpful thought patterns Building boundaries and improving communication Processing past experiences through a trauma-informed lens I regularly check in about progress to ensure therapy remains aligned with your goals. As part of a collaborative group practice, I consult regularly with Dr. Arnetta McKenna, a licensed psychologist, to support thoughtful and comprehensive treatment planning.
