Getting to know Roslyn Rice

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia who offers effective outpatient, individualized psychological care. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University. I have experience treating a number of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADD/ADHD. I provide a welcoming, neutral space to help individuals and couples heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by listening to concerns and collaborating with clients to customize a treatment plan. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. I promise to be accountable, accessible, and to create a therapeutic environment that is welcoming to all identities.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the first session, I will complete a comprehensive intake assessment that generally lasts 60 minutes. During the intake assessment, clients can expect to provide background information related to their presenting problem(s)/symptoms and provide background information related to social/behavioral history, health/medical history, and educational/vocational history. After the initial intake assessment, clients will develop treatment goals and then meet weekly/biweekly to learn strategies to meet their goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
