Living life, relating to others, adapting to changing circumstances in a changing world, understanding our needs and desires, and communicating those needs and desires to others—all require a degree of self-awareness, self-understanding, and insight into what drives us. It is my hope that I can be of some assistance in your process of self-discovery and self-acceptance. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively. When meeting with me, you will receive friendly, compassionate, and non-judgmental support as you engage in self-exploration, self-reflection, and the reintegration of dissociated or fragmented parts of yourself and/or your experiences, allowing you to undergo a healing process. You will also receive practical suggestions for coping with difficult emotions as they arise throughout this journey. I endeavor to create a safe, sacred space for these experiences to occur, as well as to ask questions, provide perspective, and offer suggestions when appropriate to encourage action or change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

"During our initial session, we'll delve deeply into the root issue, listen to your unmet needs, and create a plan for moving forward. I follow the five stages of the creative process that are rooted in my Appalachian teachings. For more information about, ""what happens in a session?". Most clients regain clarity and a sense of control by taking action toward their desired outcomes and goals within the first 1-6 sessions. "

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
