Hello, I'm Dr. Ruth Reeves. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals, including veterans, incarcerated individuals, and flood victims. My journey in psychology began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2002, followed by a Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. Throughout my career, I've been dedicated to helping people navigate life's challenges and find their path to healing and growth. My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and understanding. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to uncover the strengths and resilience within you. Whether you're dealing with addiction, anger management, anxiety, depression, or navigating life transitions, I'm here to support you. I also specialize in addressing issues related to antisocial behavior, dementia, family relationships, grief and bereavement, intimate and romantic relationships, OCD, PTSD, stress, and trauma. One of the unique aspects of my practice is the involvement of my certified therapy dog, Bear. Together, we visit patients in nursing homes, hospice, and other community settings, bringing comfort and companionship. In my personal time, I enjoy making handcrafted soap and experiencing the wonder of God in nature. These activities help me stay grounded and connected to the world around me. I am an active member of my church and community, which reinforces my belief in the power of connection and support. When you work with me, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where your experiences and feelings are honored. My goal is to help you find clarity, build resilience, and achieve a sense of well-being. If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create a path toward healing and growth.
