I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and am Board Certified in Telemental Health. I have 25 years of experience as a licensed provider. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with issues related to trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I provided trauma-informed care. I also bring experience working with military, healthcare, and first responder populations.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic style is collaborative. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, mindfulness‐based practices, and client-centered approaches to help clients meet their goals in meaningful, sustainable ways. I view myself as a guide along the path to healing. I remain attentive to your individual needs, preferences, and pace. My goal is to meet you where you are and create a supportive space where growth and change can take root. A blend of clinical training and practical insight allows me to approach therapy with depth and flexibility.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have worked in the telemental health space since pre-pandemic times. I have found it to be in line with the research that it can be just as effective as in-person care. The relationship between the therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of successful outcomes. Building this relationship starts at the first session. I am curious to find answers to why you sought help, why now, and what your hopes are for the outcomes. In the session, we will work towards a collaborative plan to set goals and the steps to reach them.
