“I set up an appointment with Ryan and he was able to get me in quickly. When I arrived he was ready for me and made me feel at home. Through multiple appointments he helped me to be encouraged and empowered, not ashamed of the trauma I was dealing with. He helped me so much in learning more about myself and my journey and ensuring me that I wasn't going through it alone. I can't thank him enough. He is genuine and caring yet challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and experience freedom in my life.”

Getting to know Ryan Beerwinkle

It is at times difficult to name exactly what the issue is. At other times, you know the exact moment your life changed. You may be tempted to ignore or stuff emotions as if bad things have not happened to you and death and loss no longer cause you pain. You do not want to burden others, but you are tired of being alone with your burdens. I strive to meet you where you are with compassionate curiosity. Working together, we build a holistic map of what it means to be you. As we build that map, we identify places in your story where you may be stuck or parts you have never really explored. Getting unstuck involves learning and applying skills and techniques, while stabilizing and strengthening your identity. I love being a therapist because each person’s story or map is so unique. I find wonder and meaning when I witness you learning new parts of your story and becoming strong enough to offer love and compassion to yourself and others, even when you experience pain. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, which informs my approach to therapy and supports my commitment to compassionate, individualized care.
