Getting to know Ryan Grove
Feeling stuck? Overwhelmed? Struggling with a life change? I would love to help. For over a decade, I have walked alongside individuals, helping them to discern and realize real change in their lives. If you suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, inattention or a lack of focus, ADD/ADHD, vocational confusion, or just a general dissatisfaction with life, know that these things are not permanent. If you are ready for a change, I would love to help. Along with being a licensed, EMDR-trained therapist, I am also an ordained pastor with a master's degree in theology and I have a passion for integrating faith and mental health.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Healing comes from living into your values, but so much of the time, our actions and behaviors do not line up with how we see ourselves, or how we would like to see ourselves. I specialize in connecting and integrating the various spheres of life (intellectual, somatic, spiritual, etc) so that you can move towards real and lasting change. Sometimes this requires processing past trauma, and my training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) can help you move on. Reach out today.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I work with both individuals and couples. During a typical session, I mix and match modalities based on each client's need. I have training and experience in EMDR, ACT, CBT, motivational interviewing, IFST, and family systems. If paying for therapy is an issue for you, I have a sliding scale based upon need. If you are ready for a change, I would love to help. I provide in-person therapy in the Triangle, and online therapy across North Carolina.
